Sweden has introduced advanced drone swarm technology that will enable drones of various sizes to work collaboratively on tasks.
Developed by Saab, the cutting-edge system will be showcased during the upcoming Arctic Strike exercise, according to Defense Minister Pål Jonson.
“With these drone swarms, it is possible to conduct reconnaissance, positioning, and identification,” he stated.
The unveiling marks a significant step in Stockholm’s efforts to enhance its defense capabilities amid rising regional tensions.
“We must take some risks to build a stronger defense capability faster than usual,” Jonson added.
The results of the upcoming trials are expected to reinforce Sweden’s position as a leader in global defense innovation.
